Hi, I’m Xenophon. My wife and I are young but both very traditional and old-fashioned. However, our personalities lend us to some FLR-like elements even though we don’t have a true FLR. I am the bold and energetic public leader of the family and the breadwinner; but I am also mercurial, unstable, manic, and occasionally depressive. My wife is stable, loving, gentle, and supportive, but also doesn’t take any shit from me. She checks me, grounds me, and calls me out when I’m out of line.
Our journey truly began when she asked me to have a vasectomy. We have several children and were not planning on any more, but I still didn’t like the idea of losing my virility. I finally broke down and agreed, and in the course of doing so I confessed that I loved being dominated by her and wanted her to dominate me sexually, which she was open to. I will probably tell that story another time.
