Hi there. We have been trying Locktober for a few years now. We haven’t been successful on staying locked for the entire month but maybe this year will be better.

What sort of kickoff ceremony or tradition does everyone start with on Locktober 1st?

Here are a few ideas to kick-off Locktober:

A. Place a key on a track and watch a train squish it.

B. Place a key and message in a bottle and cast it into the sea.

C. Develop a contract for the month.

D. Tie the key to a helium balloon and release it into the air.

E. Tie the key to a bottle rocket firework and watch it explode at midnight.
