Questions

  1. Tell us about yourselves and the inspiration behind this exciting new device?

This is expanded on in the “About Us” section of our site, but the founder’s inspiration stems from frustration with traditional chastity cages. Even expensive custom cages were easy to escape and consistently caused discomfort or posed a constant risk of injury. His partner and keyholder loved the dynamic and enjoyed the increased energy and attentiveness in their relationship but disliked the cages, feeling they reduced spontaneity. Additionally, she wasn’t into the inherent sadism of traditional cages, which made this innovation a necessary evolution for them both. We’ve found that keyholders, who are typically women and partners of the wearer, often share many of these same concerns.

  1. What are the biggest challenges that you see with traditional chastity cages?

Traditional chastity cages often cause discomfort or injury, limit spontaneity, are bulky, and can be challenging to manage when it comes to hygiene. They’re also relatively easy to escape without the keyholder knowing and lack modern features like feedback or integration with the keyholder’s needs. Traditional cages have had their time, but it’s the 21st century—we can do better!

  1. What are you trying to solve with the Veru One device?

The Veru One device aims to address the discomfort and limitations of traditional cages while fostering a dynamic based on willpower and control. It provides insights for the keyholder and allows for an intimate, fun, and a customized approach to chastity without the physical and sadism drawbacks of traditional devices.

  1. It doesn’t prevent a man from having an erection or ejaculating and still takes willpower. Does this make things easier for a keyholder or do you imagine the constant updates becoming annoying? Can the device be used to rate arousal level for the keyholder to use while tease and denial?

That’s an excellent angle we hadn’t fully explored yet, but yes! Initially, the device will provide a binary “yes, he is very close” or “no, he is not close” update. This accuracy is one reason we’ve incorporated an audio alarm option. For example, if the wearer is alone with the keyholder, the alarm could alert them from another room. This feature could be very useful for denial scenarios.

We’ll also consider an option to alert the keyholder when arousal drops below the initial threshold, allowing for even more versatility in interactions. Regarding annoyance, if a wearer repeatedly approaches orgasm throughout the day, it could potentially become bothersome for the keyholder. To mitigate this, we plan to offer settings that limit notifications to a certain frequency, allowing for later review if desired. That said, active keyholders might prefer to intervene in real-time, adding their own personal touch to the interaction.

  1. I like the idea of incorporating willpower into this, willpower is sexy and this seems like an interesting blend of the honor system and lock and key of the cage. How can you gamify this and keep it sexy and fun for the keyholder too?

We have endless ideas for gamification! For example, we’re exploring prepaid online gift card games and AI-verified challenges to ensure the wearer stops the activity that triggers notifications. The technology has the potential to sense actual orgasms in the future, adding another layer of accountability and play. Importantly, participation in games will always be optional, and privacy concerns will be addressed, ensuring no game mechanics leak into other areas of the device’s operation.

  1. Does the man wear the device in a training mode during orgasm so the device can learn his heart rate and biometric indicators of his orgasm?

Yes! That is exactly the idea. We’re refining this concept, and beta testing will guide us toward the best implementation.

  1. Does the device need to be removed for charging? Is it a removable battery or how do you prevent the wearer from masturbating while charging?

We’re designing the device to be long-lasting, so frequent charging should not be necessary. When charging is required, it most likely will be done using a magnetic attachment while worn, ensuring it remains secure and functional.

  1. Do you have a patent on the device?

Yes, we’ve filed provisional patents on the technology.

  1. Are there any non-kink/chastity uses for the device? Perhaps as something for sex offenders?

We’re not exploring that avenue at this time due to the immense challenges involved. However, if someone from that community approached us, we’d be open to listening.

  1. I am a bit ocd and I find his caged penis visually appealing. Do you anticipate any options to connect a fabric penis cover or visual obstruction to his penis? Underwear is obviously an option I know.

Since we will own the patents, there’s potential for endless customization. A simple fabric attachment is a great idea and seems feasible. Additionally, there’s strong interest in a cage design incorporating our patented technology, which we see as a future product if this initial launch is successful.

  1. I like the accessibility of this device and I wonder if it will become as socially acceptable as the vibrator to women. Do you see the device helping make male chastity, orgasm control and ultimately female led relationships more mainstream?

That’s precisely the impact we hope to achieve. Anecdotal data suggests that while up to 20% of men are interested in chastity, only 3% are willing to wear a cage, and even fewer wear one daily. Our device aims to make chastity more appealing and accessible, fostering relationships where men can feel noble and self-assured, while keyholders enjoy spontaneity and exploration.

  1. Are there games that can be played with the device? Perhaps she does a striptease and he has to work on keeping his heart rate down or he gets a beep or a shock.

That’s a fantastic idea! Games like this are central to our vision, as they make the experience engaging for the keyholder and align perfectly with the device’s purpose.

  1. If the device is worn during pegging, it might be interesting to see what his p-gasm bio stats look like.

That’s an intriguing possibility, as we haven’t thought of pegging yet… something we’d love to explore further.

  1. Does it have a self locking option? Perhaps some gamification and sharable leaderboard to help keep the NoFap folks accountable?

Yes, we’re considering a self-locking option and gamification features. While privacy concerns are a top priority, a leaderboard for accountability is an exciting concept we’re eager to explore, potentially allowing users to share stats safely and consensually.

  1. Can the device be worn comfortably during sex, teasing or other play if the keyholder sets a specific mode or must it be removed? If so, will it have a vibration option?

Yes, much like a cock ring, it should be wearable during sex. This is part of the spontaneity we want to restore for keyholders. It’s designed to be comfortable, but beta testing will determine how it performs during very intense activities. Vibration functionality is something we may explore for future iterations.

  1. Will you consider partnering with us for a giveaway as you get closer to releasing the device?

Absolutely! We’d love to collaborate on a giveaway.

  1. This is called the Veru One, if technology and cost were not limitations, what would you add to the Veru Two?

We already have a patented design for the Veru Two, though we’ll likely rename it. The possibilities for innovation in 21st-century chastity devices are limitless, and we’re eager to keep pushing boundaries.

  1. What about hacking? There was a previous app controlled device that was hacked, how will you make sure the Veru One is secure from hackers?

Security is a top priority for us. The Veru One is designed with a one-way interface, meaning it only sends notifications to the keyholder and does not allow them to remotely adjust the device’s settings at will. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.

Additionally, we are implementing a randomized password system for remote keyholder updates. This feature is particularly important for content creators or keyholders managing multiple users. The randomized password ensures that the wearer cannot access or modify their settings once the keyholder takes control, maintaining the integrity of the dynamic. By sending the randomized password directly to the keyholder, it ensures that only authorized individuals have control, while also preventing any accidental or malicious interference from the wearer. This added layer of security is a critical step in ensuring trust and privacy for both keyholders and wearers.

I’m not sure about this knight guy but I’m down with anyone that wants to go medieval on chastity.
